  Glad to be back at FBGS. Incredible family of faith! Discovered last year that the FBGS goal is to go and guide people to find faith in Jesus Christ and teach them to follow Him. Also, discovered a genuine openness to seasonal guests and those on vacation.

  Kind, caring, loving group of Christians! I have been active in my church llfe for 60 years. Relocated to Foley and began to search for my new Home church! After a couple of years of fellowship and worship in churches in our area, we decided to venture towards the beach to visit a church someone had mentioned as a "special place"...... God has truly, blessed us! I was raised singing in a trio with my sisters and I was the church pianist, so music has always been my blessing........ I jokingly say, " when the choir is finished, I can go home and my cup runneth over". If you love that kind of blessing, we here at Gulf Shores First Baptist , have a choir of angels singing! Brother Jim Vanmeter directs our "mini- Morman Tabernacle Choir!" Each week I am thrilled with the blessings of soloists who lift up their voices in praise! Never ONCE have I not been blessed! Oh ...... I almost forgot!!!!! We have amazing preaching that will inspire you, fill your heart with rejoicing and strength for the coming week. A congregation filled will genuine christian souls who will pray with you, comfort you and be there to hold your hand if things get hard.
  Communion is served once a month in both early and late service! We also have a service called Vertical that is more a contemporary presentation of music and worship. So I guess to cut this short!!!!! I have found the place which blesses me, fills me with joy and Christian friendship and makes my heart sing his praises! Dont cha want to come and set by me? Maybe we can go to lunch after service and get to know each other better!

  Jesus Christ is praised in every service at FBCGS! Incredible Family of Faith demonstrates God's love in action daily. We invite locals and vacationers to worship with us!

  Visited here while on vacation. Felt very welcomed by the congregation- but more importantly, felt God moving. The sermon preached was biblical and challenged me to improve my prayer time.
